Company discovered the Healey day before the opening of the "Earls
Court Motor show" in the year 1952 at the show-booth of the Healey
Motor Corporation. In the year
1956 the Austin Healey 100/6 saw the light of day, the first Austin
Healey with six-cylinder engine was born... Six cylinder
engine Austin Healey 100/6 (BN4), year 1958. Colour silver metallic over dark blue. Blue/grey leather interior. The interior was given special period bucket seats and a handy luggage shelf behind the seats. This Healey 100/6 features an aluminium rocker cover, AC generator, chrome wire wheels, aluminium petrol tank, mohair soft top, mohair tonneau cover, side exhaust, front shock damper modification kit and disc brakes at the front wheels. |
