Below you find a summary of modifications and preparations which have been carried out on the mechanics of this Austin Healey Mk II. Note that no costs or effort were spared to create this unique high quality Austin Healey.

Chassis / suspension

  • Blasted and coated with welding primer before application of top coats

  • chassis modified for longer suspension travel

  • adjustable front shock absorber mounting plates

  • Mk III rear shock absorbers

  • Disc brakes at the rear

  • ventilated front disc brakes with Mk III calipers

  • Goodridge brake hoses

  • brake pressure limiter to rear brakes

  • hand Built 72 spoke wire wheels. Stainless steel spokes and gray anodised aluminium rims, very unique!

  • polyurethane bushings in suspension.

    Engine / drive:

  • Centre shift 4-speed gearbox with overdrive (fully refurbished by specialist von Munching)

  • Engine fully overhauled by specialist firm van Giersbergen in The Netherlands. Engine fitted/up rated with:

  • aluminum cylinder head

  • fluid-damped crankshaft pulley

  • alternator with aluminium pulley

  • water pump with aluminium pulley

  • aluminium rocker cover

  • forged pistons

  • Mk III clutch plate

  • lightened flywheel

  • aluminium back plate mounting gearbox

  • lighter cam followers and push rods, aluminium roller lifters

  • fast road (Kent) camshaft

  • aluminium sump

  • high-torque starter

  • electronic ignition (123)

  • custom made tubular exhaust
