Technical data

The MG B was the first MG (Morris Garage) to be built of unitary construction bodywork. The MG B roadster was manufactured between 1962 and 1980. Early models can be recognized by the chrome bumpers, but because of American rules on safety, the later models were equipped with synthetic bumpers. The greater part was exported to the United States.

This exact rebuilt "works" rally-car is based on an early MG B roadster model. The car is fitted with a GRP rally hardtop and a roll-over-bar.
The front-lights are covered with polycarbonate protective covers and the petrol tank is a special "safety-cell" in the trunk.   This rebuilt MG B "works" rally-car confirms fully to the original specifications of the real"works-cars".
