Facel Vega model overview
Hereby
we present a photo reportage of a scarce Facel Vega;
the Excellence. There are not many people who saw this impressive
automobile in real live...
This Excellence was built in the year 1960. The car was based on
the Facel Vega HK 500 and was fitted with a
6.2 liter V8 engine.
With its capacity of 360 bhp. the 5.23 meter long and almost
2000 kilogram's heavy Excellence was able to reach a top
speed of 210 km/h. (132 mph.)!!
Very special is the magnificent door construction without pillars.
The two rear doors open in the opposite direction of the front
doors. With the front and rear doors open the interior is displayed
entirely.
This unrestored and very original Facel Vega Excellence has
