Rover Ten (10/25) Sportman's Coupé, 1931

Return to the archives  Photo overview

The first type Rover Ten (10/25hp) was built between 1928 and 1933. The cars were regarded as, above average, middle class cars. The early, pre 1930, Rover 10/25's very often were bodied by Weymann. The Weymann fabric bodies were very popular those days, not only by looks but also because they dampened all unpleasant bodywork sounds.
The Rover 10/25's were fitted with a Rover four cylinder OHV engine with two bearings. Gearbox was a 3-speed manual unit with floor shift.
