The Triumph
TR 4 is the successor of the Triumph TR 3. This Michelotti styled
Triumph came onto the market in 1961.
The Triumph TR 4 is a real British roadster; pure and honest.
The TR 4 is built with a sturdy separate chassis with independent
front suspension and a live rear axle. (IRS versions are equipped with
independent rear suspension). The TR4 is equipped with disc brakes at
the front and drum brakes at the rear. The bonnet shows a beautiful
power bulge which gives space for the two carburettors. The Triumph TR 4
has a very beautiful wooden dashboard that is clear and functional and
is equipped with large Smiths clocks. For the TR 4 a very nice
"Surrey-top" is available as accessory. The Triumph
"Surrey top inspired Porsche to built the Porsche "Targa"
