The BMW 02 series was presented in the year 1966. The 02 series was a two-door model based upon the 1500/2000 series which were introduced between 1961 and 1966. The 02 series was powered by engines of several capacities. The four cylinder in line engines featured capacities of 1500, 1600, 1800 and 2000 cc. This compact family car became a great success for BMW. The sporty road holding, powerful engines and the functionality formed an attractive package!

Information

Colour white with a black/grey rally interior. This BMW 2002 Tii was sold new in France. The caris fitted with a full roll over cage, special sports seats with safety harnesses, an aluminium petrol tank, Minilite wheels, a sports steering wheel, an oil pan protector, a Tripmaster mounting plate and a strut bar between the front wheel suspension towers. The overhauled two liter M10 engine was fitted with two double Weber carburettors and a 5-speed E30 gearbox was fitted. the engine was Dyno fine tuned at Speedcentre in the Netherlands. The capacity at the rear wheels was determined at 140 DIN bhp.
