The Triumph TR 6 was the continuation of the TR2 to TR5 series. At the end of the 1960s, Triumph was incorporated in the British Leyland concern. As the Austin Healey was no longer manufactured and as the sales of the TR5s declined, the need of a new roadster was felt.
The TR 5’s bodywork was given to Karmann in Osnabruck for improvement. They made alterations to the wings and to the front and rear ends of the car, which was originally designed by Michelotti.

Triumph TR6, year 1973. Colour dark blue with silver striping and rear. Black interior, black soft top and hood cover. This TR 6 sports overdrive, aluminium rocker cover, SU carburettors, K&N sports air filters, Stainless Steel exhaust system, Minilite alloy wheels, walnut dashboard, sports steering wheel with leather rim and two door mirrors.
