The Triumph TR 4 is the successor of the Triumph TR 3. This Michelotti styled Triumph came onto the market in 1961.
The Triumph TR 4 is a real British roadster; pure and honest.
 The TR 4 is built with a sturdy separate chassis with independent front suspension and a live rear axle. (IRS versions are equipped with independent rear suspension). The TR4 is equipped with disk brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear. The bonnet shows a beautiful power bulge which gives space for the two carburettors. The Triumph TR 4 has a very beautiful wooden dashboard that is clear and functional and is equipped with large Smiths clocks. For the TR 4 a very nice "Surrey-top" is available as accessory. The Triumph "Surrey top inspired Porsche to built the Porsche "Targa" versions. the Triumph TR4 is as all the TR versions a real drivers car.
