The Alfa
Romeo Giulia is the follow-up on the Giulietta series. The Giulia was
built between the years 1962 en 1972. The Giulia 1300 TI was introduced
in 1966. In the year 1972 the slightly modified "Giulia Nuova" was
introduced. The latter was built until 1978.
The Alfa Romeo Giulia shows a very characteristic body design which was
extremely modern in the early sixties. The shape of the car was very
aerodynamic and very functional by design. This compact saloon offered
more space in the interior and trunk as one would expect at first
glance.
The roadholding capabilities of the Giulia are excellent. This family
saloon is a real drivers-car.
The excellent roadholding capabilities, the lively Alfa four-cylinder
engine, the 5-speed gearbox and the servo'd disk-brakes all round
guarantee lots of sporty driving fun. The Giulia was offered with
cylinder capacities of 1300 cc. and
1600 cc.
