Triumph TR 6 damage repair

A year after Piet Mozes Restorations restored the body of the ClassicarGarage Triumph TR 6 the car collided with a truck in a traffic accident...
The entire front side of the car was damaged including the front suspension, the chassis stays allocating the suspension and the front wheels.
After evaluating the damage and measuring the degree of dislocation of the parts we got the front body panels and the chassis stays straight with on a hydraulic bench. After that we rebuilt the front suspension. The wheels were lined up, caster and camber was checked and adjusted. Every setting within original specification; the car was straighter than new...
Then we started to work on the body, all damaged panels on the right side were cut out and new panels were welded in place. Two wings and the bonnet were also renewed.
After that the car (font side and doors) and the new panels were sprayed. The car was rebuilt and the new panels and seams were given an extensive conserving anti rust treatment.
The ClassicarGarage TR 6 is brand new again and it drives
as perfect as before the accident!
