The Jaguar Mk-X (Mk-10) was introduced in the year 1961. This full size Jaguar limousine was designed for the American market were size really matters... The Mk-X was the ultimate Jaguar in the sixties of the 20th century. This very impressive automobile measured 5.13 meters. The unitary bodywork was carried by independent suspension all round and the 3.8 Litre engine powered the rear wheels thru a limited slip differential. In the year 1964 the Mk X was given the 4.2 Litre engine. In the year 1967 the Mk-X was named Jaguar 420 G. Between the years 1961 and 1964 13.382 Jaguar Mk-X cars were built. Six cylinder in-line
