The Daimler
Double Six was the sister model of the Jaguar XJ 12. The Daimler Double
Six was presented in the year 1973 and the coupe model in the year 1975.
The Jaguar XJ V12 and the Daimler Double Six combined the qualities of a
sports car and a limousine in one car. Both presented excellent road
holding capabilities, were very fast and powerful, and were very
comfortable and silent. V12 engine Daimler Double Six 'Vanden Plas' LWB (Long wheel Base), year 1973. Colour 'Silver Sand' (beige metallic) with a black vinyl roof top. Brown leather interior with beige carpet. The exclusive colour 'silver sand' was only available for the V12 Vanden Plas V12 models. This tremendous Daimler Double Six 'Vanden Plas' LWB is one of the scarcest Jaguar XJ12/Daimler Double Six models, only 351 were built. Click here for a photo of the service booklet. |
